The Second Panhellenic Symposium of Epicurean Philosophy

The Garden of Athens, with the Garden of Salonica, held the Second Panhellenic Symposium of Epicurean Philosophy in Athens on 11-12 February 2012. The symposium took place at the Cultural Centre of Pallini, a municipality which includes the ancient district of Gargettus with which Epicurus is understood to have been associated.

The program was divided into: The Philosophy of Epicurus (1 The Quest for Truth, 2 The Quest for Sources, 3 The Art of Happy Living) and Epicurean Philosophy from Antiquity to Our Times (4 Epicureans in Antiquity, 5 The Eternal Value of the Epicurean Philosophy).

The first Symposium was held at the same venue on 12-13 February 2011.
